You’re invited to join the upcoming Premier Tennis League (PTL) Indoor/Outdoor Tournament, running from April 1st week through the last week of June 2026.
Entry Fee:
- Singles : $30.00
- Doubles : $60.00
- Men’s & Women’s Singles
- Men’s & Women’s Doubles
- Mixed Doubles
- Explorers (Dad/Son)
- Youth
Format:
PTL have three groups for both Singles and Doubles: Voyagers (Beginners), Challengers (Intermediate), and Warriors (Advanced).
Each group will be further split into subgroups, where players/teams will compete in a round-robin format, playing 3 to 5 matches within their group. Based on the number of sign-ups, the top-performing players/teams from each subgroup will advance to the playoffs.
Each player or team needs to play one match per week. Each week will end on Sunday, with the first week ending on 04/12.
Most matches will be played at Five Star for indoor games and at various locations around the Naperville suburbs for outdoor matches.
Winning player/team:
• Straight-set win: 14 points
• Win in 3 sets: 12 points
Losing player/team:
• Receives points equal to total games won, capped at a maximum of 8 points.
• Examples:
• Loss 6-1, 6-3 → 4 points
• Loss 6-2, 6-3 → 5 points
• Loss 7-5, 7-5 → 8 points
• Loss 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 → 8 points
Walkover:
• Winning team: 10 points
• Losing team: 0 points
We will also be hosting a separate PTL Sand Valley Tournament on grass courts at Sand Valley, WI, sometime in July 2026—a unique opportunity to experience grass court play. Details will be shared soon.
